As principal trombonist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Ronald Barron can be heard on numerous recordings with a variety of conductors that have been produced throughout his tenure with the orchestra. Mr. Barron has also produced eight solo recordings on the Boston Brass Series Label which have received critical acclaim. His Nonesuch recording titled “Cousins”, with cornetist Gerard Schwartz, received a Stereo Review record of the year award in 1977, and is partially reproduced on the CD  “Cornet Favorites”.
