Ron is proud to be hosted by his former student at New England Conservatory, Dr. Donald Appert, at Clark College in Vancouver, WA.  His stay will include a master class on March 6th from 10 a.m.-noon.  However, the main purpose of this visit is the school orchestra concert the evening of March 10th, where Ron is featured soloist in the world premier of Eric Ewazen’s orchestral accompaniment to the work he composed for Ron in 2004, titled “Palmetto Suite”.  Eric and Ron have recorded this work in its original form for trombone and piano. The concert also features Ron as soloist in the David-Concertino, and two additional works by the orchestra
